The RN Float Pool PRN role at Oviedo Medical Center requires a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who can provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care to patients. As a member of our care team, you will assess patient condition during admission and each shift as scheduled, perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers, document care in the patient medical record, and teach patients/families/caregivers about their medical condition and treatment plan. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and evaluate patient care and managing a care team to provide oversight and delegation to members as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. You will also need a BLS-AHA Provider issued card within 30 days of start and an Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma. Additionally, you must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor within 30 days of employment start date and Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor within 60 months of employment start date.
