Responsibilities and Requirements
Evaluating Patient Needs and Developing Care Plans:
- Evaluate patient respiratory needs and develop personalized care plans based on clinical practice guidelines.
- Implement treatment plans using evidence-based practices and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Minimum one year experience in clinical respiratory therapy preferred.
- Current Florida state license.
- CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) certification through the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support); or BLS, ACLS, PALS Instructor, all cards issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required; obtain within 6 months.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required; obtain within 6 months.
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required; obtain within 6 months.
