Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Oviedo Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare. As a valued member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general nursing care to patients with minor injuries to acutely or critically ill conditions
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs continually
- Coordinate functions with physicians and other departments while maintaining patient-focused and safety-aware practices
- Provide follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
- Associate Degree or RN in acute care environment preferred
- Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation
- BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
