Ovise has partnered with a leading Investment Management organizationon that is seeking a talented Java/Python Software Engineer to join their Client Reporting group!
This role will be 60% Java/Spring Boot work, and the remainder will be geared more towards Python and Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop applications using modern design patterns and best practices while eliminating technical roadblocks
- Collaborate with product owners, tech leads, and team members to deliver impactful solutions
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, mentor team members, and foster a culture of learning and innovation
- Solve complex problems requiring analysis of abstract variables
- Identify opportunities to simplify development tools, reducing overhead while maximizing efficiency
- Advocate for modern tech adoption and decommission outdated stacks through continuous feedback
Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in software development with Java and Spring Boot
- Skilled in database architecture and cloud storage solutions
- Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS ECS, and EKS for container management
- Proficient in SDLC tools like Git, Jira, and Jenkins
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and adaptability
- Fast learner, driven by challenges and self-improvement
- Effective communicator, able to simplify complex technical concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills with an innovative approach
Salary : $140,000 - $200,000
