We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join OVME. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional client care and assisting in various clinical and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the clinical staff in performing a variety of non-surgical aesthetic procedures, including laser treatments, injectables, chemical peels, and other services.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and equipped with the necessary supplies, instruments, and devices.
- Prepare clients for treatments, explaining the procedures, addressing any concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas following appropriate infection control protocols.
- Support the clinical staff during procedures by providing necessary assistance.
- Perform skin assessments and document client medical histories, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions, including skincare regimens and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with the clinic team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Greet and check-in patients.
- Schedule patient appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits, ensuring efficient and organized scheduling.
- Manage patient records, including accurate data entry, updating medical histories, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure an adequate stock of medical and office materials.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services, treatments, and pricing.
- Minimum (1) year experience as a Medical Assistant required.
- Experience working in a medical office, or the cosmetic industry is a plus.
- Additional Medical Assistant Credentialing is a plus (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA).
- Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays.
- Organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
- Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships.
- Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow.
