JOB DESCRIPTION: The licensed professional nurse is a leadership and educator role, providing both patient care and education in the home setting.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities of Licensed Professional Nurse are:
- Assesses the full scope of patient needs using the nursing process on a continuous basis.
- Provides a safe environment for patients and employees through identifying/correcting/reporting health and safety hazards.
- Cooperates with distribution of resources to maintain a therapeutic environment.
- Maintains interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors and co-workers.
- Accountable for nursing practice through planned and continuous professional growth and development.
- Uses knowledge and judgement needed to meet the nursing needs of patient.
- Serves in a leadership role through clinical practice, supervision, teaching and research.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Professional Nurse in WV
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience. Home Health experience a plus!
