Brand Manager

Summary:

As the Brand Manager you will play a pivotal role in building a loyal and engaged community of gamers and game creators. Acting as a bridge between our customers, partners, and internal teams you’ll gather valuable insights to help OVR Technology advance human-centric technology. You will oversee and execute external communications, alongside our agency partners, to grow our brand presence, develop delighted users, and architect a new market space for scent in digital content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help craft the voice and public presentation of the brand.
• Drive awareness and shape the conversation around digital scent.
• Create and manage a global content strategy and calendar for internal and external communications.
• Execute campaigns and communication touch points aligned with the content plan, in partnership with outside agencies.
• Organize, facilitate, and participate in community-building activities such as, online events, AMAs, content creation, conferences, and activations.
• Respond to community inquiries and comments promptly, ensuring a positive community experience.
• Monitor discussions and media to identify trends, gather feedback, and share insights across the company.
• Administration of all communication channels.
• Creation of content, in collaboration with external agencies.
• Measure, analyze, and report on the KPIs across all channels in alignment with company objectives.

Skills:

• Familiarity with social media channels, active monitoring of user trends.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of key metrics, their impacts, and the tools to capture them.
• Creative mindset and ability to craft a compelling narrative.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Passion for gaming and technology.
• Understanding of video game peripherals, gaming culture, and online communities.
• Familiarity with hardware manufacturing and software development.
• Interest in, or knowledge of, scent and olfaction a plus.
• Ability to be self-directed, working towards overall company goals.
• Comfortable with the nature of a pre-revenue startup environment.
• Understanding of GTD method or Appreciative Inquiry are bonuses.

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000/year

Work Environment:

• Onsite in private office at Hula Co-Working space
• Extended periods of sitting at a desk and computer
• Travel may be required, no more than 10%
