Application Engineer: Senior Staff Engineer / Staff Engineer / Senior Engineer

Responsibilities :

As an Application Engineer for CIS, you will be responsible for :

  • Conducting analytic studies of fundamental performance issues for CIS or ISP and providing technical suggestions for improvement.
  • Supporting customers and solving their issues with close communication, leading the product to mass production.
  • Working with the analog / digital design team to differentiate the performance of the product in the industry.
  • Simulating and analyzing the image quality improvement of the product with new imaging algorithms.
  • Developing scientific approaches for image sensor / camera system performances.
  • Conducting modeling and simulation of imaging systems.

Requirements :

  • 5 years of application engineering / related experience is required.
  • Must have experience / knowledge in CMOS sensor or camera ISP system.
  • Must have some programming skills (VB, C / C , Python, Matlab, C#, and other languages).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (English and Japanese : business level; Chinese skill is a plus).
  • Experience / knowledge in image signal processing and color technology is a plus.
  • Experience / knowledge in optics is a plus.
  • PhD / MS / BS in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Result-oriented and embraces change behaviors.
