What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Ambassador position at OWA Parks & Resort?
This role is part of our Marketing team and key to successfully driving revenue and promoting brand awareness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Educate guests on our brand, amenities, and promotions
- Ensure friendly, positive, and informative guest interactions
- Answer questions for guests by displaying excellent brand knowledge and ensuring positive customer interactions
- Promote our brand to increase sales, build awareness, and gain guest loyalty
- Work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment while effectively communicating with guests
- Track performance of inventory
- Collect and monitor guest feedback
- Maintain communication with the supervisor by answering texts, calls, and emails in a timely manner
- Transport booth and materials to event locations; set up/break down booth at the beginning and end of shifts
- Store and secure company property when not in use
- Assist social media team by taking photos of consumers interacting with the brand
- Adhere to brand standards on all marketing programs
- Ability to learn subject matter related to OWA and speak confidently in public settings
- Provide feedback on the brand and share new ideas to attract additional guests
- Perform all other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a high school diploma
- Prefer a candidate that is pursuing or has obtained a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- Must be willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be willing to travel to off-site events within a 300-mile radius of Foley, Alabama
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed, and demonstrate initiative
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record; requires candidate be added to insurance for company vehicles
- Must be able to lift items up to 25 lbs
- Able to work outdoors in sunny, hot, humid, cold, and rainy conditions
