Job Title: 2nd Shift Parts Picking Leadman
Location: NPS Metals- Fargo, ND
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 4:00 pm - 2:30 am M-TH with OT as needed
Pay: DOE
Job Summary:
As a Parts Picking Lead, you will be instrumental in overseeing and coordinating daily operations on the manufacturing floor, ensuring optimal efficiency, safety, and quality in the production process. This role requires hands-on involvement in picking parts process. Enthusiastically support company policy, retention and onboarding practices as defined by Human Resources and strategic company long term goals.
Responsibilities:
- Help all parts picking employees stay on task and productive on the shop floor.
- Assist parts pickers in the area with problem solving and make sure that they have all the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
- Alert the Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Production Supervisor to any problems adversely affecting the ability to complete scheduled work order assignments.
- Alert Quality of any problems or find the answers the person is looking for.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance on the improvement of our processes and improvement in the overall quality of our product.
- Professional and enthusiastic enforcement of Company Personnel, Safety, and Quality policies and documents.
- Ensure all personnel have the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are appropriately wearing them.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of manufacturing experience
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
