Job Responsibilities:
- Keep our tools and gauges in tip-top shape with weekly checks—think of yourself as the guardian of precision.
- Ensure daily inspections are on point by verifying operator forms and system entries like a quality detective.
- Dive into random sampling of in-process parts—flat, formed, or machined—and match them to customer specs, flagging any hiccups to the Quality Manager and production leads.
- Slap a green QC sticker on parts that pass your eagle-eyed scrutiny.
- Spot suspect materials, tag ‘em, and stash ‘em in the Quality hold zone for a closer look.
- Nail final visual checks on due dates, keeping shipping destinations straight for happy customers.
- Wield total stop-work authority when quality’s at stake—you’re the boss of standards!
- Lend a hand to teammates and tackle special projects with the Quality Manager when duty calls.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years in manufacturing or a proven track record in Quality Assurance—you’ve been around the block!
- Know-how in quality control standards and procedures.
- Blueprint-reading wizardry—drawings and specs don’t scare you.
- Laser-sharp attention to detail and a knack for solving puzzles.
- Handy with measuring tools and ready to measure up.
- Basic computer chops for data entry and reports.
- A solo star who also shines in a team huddle.
- Cool with 2nd shift and occasional overtime—bring your A-game!
