Location: Fargo, ND
Hours: M-F 7:00 am - 4:00 pm or 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Pay: DOE
Outline of the role
NPS Metals is a leading steel manufacturing company who is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to help manage and coordinate a controlled pricing structure on fabricated parts for key customers.
Key Responsibilities
Quoting:
- To assist in generating estimates in a timely manner by using OMG quoting module across all OMG divisions, as well as using customers online quotation system.
- Sorting out new RFQ’s
- Printing and saving files
- Evaluating process capabilities
- Submitting RFQ’s to customers
- Reviewing awarded/non awarded parts
- Adding new parts to spreadsheets
- DPAR
- Revisions/ NPQA submissions
Orders:
- Assist in sales functions when needed, including quotation follow-up and tracking of shipped parts from NPS.
- Entering orders for related accounts
- Statusing orders
- GR issues
- Issuing NC reports
Miscellaneous duties
- Submitting JD crops
- JD scrubbing of late orders
- AE
- Pricing issues
- Assist with generating new quarterly pricing using MA tool

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. Environment is not fully climate controlled.
