What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mason / Tuckpointer / Bricklayer position at Owen Masonry?
As a Restoration Mason with Owen Masonry, you’ll be part of a team that respects each other, values safety and takes pride in doing industry-best restoration masonry. Attention to detail and willingness to pitch-in to get the job done are important.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Cutting and grinding out mortar joints
- Tuckpointing
- Laying brick, block and stone
- Stone patching
- Caulking
- Waterproofing
- Installing through-wall flashing
- Operating a variety of equipment including aerial lifts
- Setting up and taking down scaffolding
- Assisting with training other crew members
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work at various heights from scaffolding, swing stages or aerial lifts
- Willingness to pitch in to get the job done
- Respect for safety and willingness to follow Owen Masonry safety policies
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
