Responsibilities:
- Actively seeks out customers in and outside of dealerships.
- Ensures all customers entering the dealership are promptly greeted - with a smile, Sales Associate introduces oneself, shakes customers’ hands, and guides them through the process.
- Teaches and ensures the OWEN MOTOR GROUP, INC. sales procedures are done 100% of the time.
- Ensures proper Sales team levels are maintained through hiring, coaching and termination.
- Trains, directs, supervises, and develops sales associates in daily work activities.
- Supports sales staff in closing and approval of deals.
- Assists in setting and achieving monthly and annual sales goals.
- Leads daily sales meetings.
- Attends and assists weekly manager meetings.
- Investigates all issues on the sales floor and assists to create a resolution.
- Keeps the showroom and lot appealing, floor models spotless, and displays inviting.
- Maintains and ensures proper inventory levels.
- Reviews days in inventory for inventory daily and informs the President of plans to handle inventory outside acceptable days.
- Maintains excellent relationships with OEM.
- Monitors F&I log system to ensure maximum results from all opportunities.
- Motivates sales staff.
- Ensures that sales, finance, parts, and service departments are working together.
- Takes all required OEM and dealership sales and F&I training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior sales experience preferred.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills via phone, one-on-one and online .
- Proficient in basic math and writing skills.
- Excellent leadership, organizational and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven customer service track record or obvious desire to provide next level customer service.
- Comfortable in a high paced, competitive environment (all while actually ENJOYING your job!!!).
- Valid Driver’s License
