We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Duties
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create detailed cost breakdowns.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project scope and requirements.
- Conduct site visits to gather information on site conditions and assess potential challenges.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and subcontractors to ensure favorable pricing.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining estimates, including assumptions and methodologies used.
- Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to estimates.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for accurate pricing information.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating for a large General Contractor previously.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate estimations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and pricing strategies is preferred.
- Ability to conduct site visits and assess conditions effectively.
