Job Title: Project Safety Manager
Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 (Based on Experience)
Location: Traveling to job sites across Manhattan, Richmond County, Rockland County, and Orange County

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Safety Manager to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring our construction job sites consistently meet all safety regulations and internal compliance standards. As the Safety Manager, you will travel to various sites across NYC and surrounding counties to enforce OSHA and company-specific safety requirements, mitigate risk, and foster a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across active construction sites.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific safety plans.
- Maintain accurate safety records, incident logs, and site checklists.
- Lead on-site safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to on-site personnel regarding safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to address safety concerns proactively.
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents, or near misses, and assist in corrective action plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 Certification – Required
- 3 years of experience in construction safety or related field
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and NY construction safety codes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly across designated counties
- Experience writing safety reports and documentation
