Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, probate, and family law. This role involves providing legal advice, conducting research, and representing clients in legal proceedings. The Attorney will be responsible for ensuring that all legal documents are prepared accurately and in compliance with applicable laws.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents such as briefs, motions, and contracts.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under the law.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Manage a diverse caseload across various areas of law including estate planning, probate and family law.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and ensure effective representation.
- Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients or cases.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida bar.
- Proven experience in legal research and writing skills.
- Strong understanding of estate planning and family law is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex legal issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and courtroom representation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively.
