We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing safe and reliable transportation services to our students. Duties
- Safely operate a bus or van while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers during transit.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, particularly those with special needs or disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any necessary assistance.
- Manage time efficiently to adhere to scheduled routes while accommodating passenger needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from students and families in a friendly manner.
- Keep accurate records of daily trips, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during transit.
Experience
- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a related driving position is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual abilities (especially Spanish) are highly desirable.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Experience driving school buses or vans is a plus.
