Learning Commons Assistants support the Learning Commons (Tutoring).
Essential Functions:
- Greet and assist students with the check-in and check-out kiosk
- Set up tutoring appointments
- Answer questions and provide information
- General office duties (copying, light cleaning, filing, student outreach, email, and answering the phone)
- Assist with events & workshops
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate well with Students and Tutors
- Operate and provide assistance with computers
- Confidentiality and strong work ethic
- Perform with minimal supervision
- Professional appearance
