Work Location & Shifts: 1120 Industrial Ave, North Platte, NE

2nd Shift 5:00pm-3:30am Monday -Thursday

Pay: The hourly pay rate range for this position is 21.40 shift differential and benefits.  Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.   This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations.

What your day in this role might involve at OC-North Platte:

• Review production tickets and work oldest ticket first.
• Operate a planer, sander, hammer, wood chisel, putty knife and glue gun to repair doors.
• Stack doors on pallets and move doors through repair station to next workstation expeditiously.
• Constantly utilize safe work practices when handling, moving, cutting and stacking doors.
• Keep work area safe and clean. Conduct cleanup at the end of shift.
  
  

What Makes a Successful OC North Platte Team Member

Must haves include…

• High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 Years Old
• Experience with:
• Work safely and follow all plant rules
• Show initiative, be a self-starter
• Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
• Ability to multi-task
• Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
• Read a tape measure and do basic math
  

Would be terrific if you also had…

• Preferably one year experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with
• Think under pressure, make quick and strategic decisions
• Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
• Show initiative, be a self-starter, and be able to train and coach others
• Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
  

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

• Stand for 10 - 12 hours straight
• Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role
• Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 50-pounds)
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
• Handle, control and feel raw materials and finished goods
