Pay : The hourly pay rate range for this position is $20.00 benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Mesquite, TX and may not be applicable to other locations.

Overview

Under general supervision, to provide administrative support and perform specialized clerical assignments for assigned department(s) in one or more specialty functions of the retail operations including monitoring various warehouse management systems. This job classification requires general knowledge of general clerical practices, procedures and the ability to perform clerical support functions in an accurate and timely manner.

What You Will Do

• Prepares bill of ladings and other shipping documents
• Inspects and verifies seals for incoming goods against invoices or other documents
• Provide customer service: check in/out drivers and answer phone calls. Compose and respond to emails in a timely manner
• Data entry
• Assign dock doors to drivers and provide drivers clear instructions
• Adhere to the proper shipping procedures for transportation of door products
• Contacts resource people for various information. Liaise with transport companies and CSR to expedite, inquiries and issues regarding inbound and outbound loads.
• Coordinate tasks to the warehouse team.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and performs other miscellaneous jobs as directed
  
  

What You Will Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required
• 2-3 years in manufacturing environment, preferred
• Shipping and Receiving experience highly desirable
• Prior warehouse & logistics experience a plus
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of commonly computer software (Microsoft office suite) and general clerical practices
• High quality standard required
• Maintain operation and cleanliness of all office equipment
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bending, twisting, stooping, excellent dexterity
• Must work at a fast pace
• Provides administrative support to assigned department(s); performs general clerical assignments
• Maintains inventory system
• Performs inventory and slot maintenance duties. Sets up new item numbers in the computer system.
• Sitting/Standing for long continuous hours

• Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function of the job in order to avoid any disruptions in production and customer service
