Job Description
The primary objective of this position is to provide daily operations pertaining to the hourly workforce at our manufacturing plant. This role acts in the HR capacity at all times and will fill in for questions and support in the absence of the Regional HR Leader.
Key responsibilities include:
• Payroll Coordinator duties with oversight and administration of Kronos up to and including training and certifying new department payroll admins.
• Maintenance of time clocks at the Roofing and Asphalt plants
• Respond to payroll issues from hourly paid employees
• Coordinate or assist employees with all payroll changes (tax Changes, direct deposit, garnishments, deductions...etc)
• Be sole point of contact for Payroll Shared Services and problem ticket entry and resolution
• Research for annual labor market survey
Required Skills and Qualifications
The employee should hold the following abilities:
• Must understand verbal and written instructions
• Must be self-motivated to work independently and in a group
• Must perform basic mathematical calculations
• Able to think under pressure, make quick decisions, and act as a decision maker.
• Able to communicate proficiently in English
• Attention to detail
