Job Description: Trim Flipper
Read/interpret ticket - verify door size, use foot pedal to raise/lower lift table, set down cull board, retrieve correct pallet size, place cardboard on top of pallet, catch/flip/stack doors straight onto pallet from saw conveyor, quality check of Jetta mark print, verify print matches door species, identifying and separating doors needing repair, push door stacks onto conveyor tracks. Certified LOTO and use air guns for blow off and cleaning.
Knowledge
Door/customer quality specs, door types, core types, read/interpret production tickets and printing on doors, and able to read tape measure up to 1/16".
Skill
Read/ interpret tickets, perform visual quality checks to identify defects/repairs, align doors while stacking
Responsibility
Moderate level of responsibility, to catch, flip, and align doors while stacking with little to no supervision, identify quality issues/or doors needing repair, incorrect operation can result in damaged doors

Physical Demands
High physical demand - Manually lift/slide/flip materials or doors(max. of 80 lbs) continuously, bending, stooping, twisting, timing activity with a partner a must to avoid hand injuries. Standing for long continuous hours.
Metal Demands
Fast paced job with continuous focus catching/flipping/stacking doors with a partner. Constand focus on visual quality inspection of doors.
Social
Must work closely with another operator as a team. Communicate verbally and non verbally with ques - with partner, operator, and feeder.
Working Conditions
Mildly controlled environment - can expect some cold and heat during extreme weather conditions. High dust and noise environment.
