Owens Corning Corporate Services, LLC, seeks SAP Sales and Distribution Solutions Architect in Toledo, OH, to develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders and process owners to thoroughly understand processes and business goals. Lead technology roadmap development for SAP Sales & Distribution. Lead associated technology assessments and technology standards development including ensuring all SD blueprint documents, configuration documents and functional specs documents are created in compliance with our architectural frameworks and architecture standards. Participate in multiple and sometimes parallel implementations and continuous improvement projects in a solutions architect role, including activities such as definition of project scope based on workshops with business representatives and knowledge of our landscape and solutions, participating in SD blueprinting sessions with business and IT stakeholders to understand key requirements, lead the blueprinting of topics that are highly integrated with other tracks, ideate on solutions to complex requirements, review and approve blueprints as outlined by the functional subject matter expert of requirements and solutions, and assisting subtrack leads with systems build activities including configuration, master data, investigation of enhancement points and integrations, and writing functional specifications and unit testing. Model complex requirements through proof of concept. Interface SAP with other applications to improve system usability, customer experience and process efficiency. Design, develop, and deliver enhancements and optimizations in SD. Support functional requirements for new customer onboardings within EDI. Maintain the backlog for new features and lead development of new functionality and document offerings.
Requirements : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation : leading design and blueprint sessions, SAP SD Configuration, Development, Cutover Activities, Data Migration, Testing and hyper-care; designing all or key modules of a custom business application from scratch including technical design, data relationships, UI's and system interfaces; leading technology roadmap development for SAP sales and distribution; developing strong partnerships with key stakeholders and process owners to thoroughly understand processes and business goals; interfacing SAP with other applications to improve systems usability, customer experience and process efficiency; and modeling complex requirements through proof of concepts. 10% national and international travel required.
