Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient food production.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and food preparation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere and foster teamwork.
- Manage ordering of supplies and maintain appropriate stock levels to minimize waste.
- Assist in bartending duties as needed during service periods.
Experience
- Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Sous Chef or similar position within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising kitchen staff.
- Familiarity with inventory management processes and cost control measures.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications are preferred but not required.
- Experience in bartending is a plus but not mandatory.
