SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor or Manager, provides support services to four (4) areas: child care, crisis office, campus management and non-residential. Job responsibilities may vary according to the hours worked.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN CHILD CARE include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under supervision of the Program Supervisor conducts planned children's activities.
Reinforces positive parenting and responsible supervision of children.
Works closely with Counselor/Advocates to meet the needs of family case management.
Provides information, referral, crisis intervention and advocacy for children who are program participants.
Works with the supervisor to incorporate practicum students and volunteers into the children’s program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN CRISIS OFFICE AND IN THE NON-RESIDENTIAL AREAS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides crisis office coverage.
Provides crisis intervention and supportive services to clients in the absence of Counselor/Advocates.
Provides dormitory coverage to maintain positive campus atmosphere.
Works closely with Counselor/Advocates to promote client safety, sobriety, and self-sufficiency by maintaining a positive facility atmosphere and a willingness to listen.
Responds to crisis calls; provides information and referrals as needed.
Conducts client intakes and exits in the absence of counselor/advocates.
Compiles monthly service report to ZeroV.
Maintains client files in accordance with OASIS policies.
Screens and routes calls.
Maintains a log of calls.
Performs assigned cleaning duties.
Types, files and coordinates the maintenance of case files.
Enters data into computer.
Types records, narratives, OASIS procedures, correspondence, and other materials; provides clerical services as needed.
Maintains building security by monitoring cameras and security system; conducts safety and security checks; greets clients and visitors; evacuates building as appropriate during emergencies.
Supervises locks, keys, medication, and campus visitor entries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WHILE ASSISTING THE CAMPUS MANAGER will vary according to the need. OASIS Campus Manager will make assignments.
ALL FOUR AREAS of Child Care, Crisis Office, Campus Management and Non-Residential will have the following responsibilities:
Maintaining daily contact sheet and completing documentation as required by ZeroV Guidelines and OASIS Policies and Procedures.
Responds to crisis calls; provides information and referrals as needed.
Attends case staffings, in-service trainings and staff meetings as assigned.
Provides support to residents and assists them with problem solving.
Assists campus staff in providing comprehensive, holistic services to clients.
Responsible for housekeeping in assigned areas.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma/GED. Basic office, typing, and computer skills preferred. Experience in child development and working with children directly preferred.
Ability to prepare business letters, summaries, and reports, using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read novels, newspapers, periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries. Ability to prepare business letters, summaries, and reports, using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style. Ability to speak extemporaneously on a variety of subjects.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to handle math computations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Certification.
First Aid Certification
Must meet certification standards as outlined by ZeroV as directed by supervisor.
