Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per plan of care. Monitors, records and communicatespatient condition as appropriate.
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Technician program required. A combination of education, training andexperience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required. Licensedas a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state of Kentucky required. Certified as a Basic Life Support(BLS) Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position.
0 to 4 years progressive experience in a related field required.
Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision. Must be able to workin a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be able to manage time effectively. Computerskills is a must.
