FUNCTION
The Food and Beverage Barback supports bartenders and other team members in providing exceptional service to guests in the facility. This role ensures that the bar area remains clean, stocked, and operational, contributing to a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

- Assist bartenders by stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory of beverages, glassware, garnishes, and other bar supplies.
- Ensure the bar area is clean and tidy by collecting and washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and removing trash promptly.
- Monitor and replenish ice, mixers, and other essential items to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Support bartenders in preparing garnishes and stocking condiments as needed.
- Assist in the receipt and storage of inventory deliveries, ensuring proper handling and rotation of stock.
- Assist in organizing promotional events and partnerships that enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
- Respond quickly to requests from bartenders, servers, and supervisors to maintain a seamless workflow.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines in compliance with local and state regulations.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations and service areas for special events or peak service times.
- Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
