A Bartender is an integral part of the Owensboro team responsible for taking food and drink orders from guests, as well as mixing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, while simultaneously ensuring that guests are not overserved so that everyone can have a fun and safe gaming experience at Owensboro Racing and Gaming!

Some details of what you will do:
- Take beverage and food orders from patrons in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine and bottled/draft beer.
- Promote brands/products to increase sales, including promotional drinks and drink specials.
- Maintain a cash drawer and complete transactions using a point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of bar/workstation by arranging bottles and glasses to make attractive displays, sweeping, wiping counter/table tops, sink areas, removing trash, mopping, etc.
- Restock alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, cut/slice and replenish garnishes, refill ice wells, replace kegs, refill paper products, glassware, and condiments.
- Assist with inventory and inventory control.
What you need:
- Relevant work experience, including strong knowledge, ability, and skill in mixing a variety of alcoholic beverages.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
