Summary
Job Summary
Supervises daily operations of the assigned team members to ensure alignment with department and organizational objectives. Performs multiple tasks relating to area of assignment such as grounds, landscaping, or couriers.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs staffing, performance evaluations, and training activities and assists with capacity planning for staff.
- May perform daily rounds, project management tasks, equipment repairs, and other services, which may include anything related to couriers.
- Performs jobs and work activities associated with are of assignment.
- Performs visual inspections and/or equipment, properties, and assigned areas.
- Assists with the development and compliance of the department budgets, including capital, operating, and construction budgets.
- Maintains knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory, and administrative requirements and ensures departmental compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
- Driver - Valid driver's license and 21 years of age required upon hire AND
- Grounds - Category 3 Operator - Ornamental and Turf (O3) license in the state of Kentucky required within 90 days of employment in this position (Grounds and Landscaping only)

- Works under minimal supervision.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the specialization as well as business needs to recommend appropriate action.
- Requires in-depth skills and knowledge of the specialized concepts, practices, equipment operations and procedures in the area of grounds/landscaping.
