Job Summary :
Owl is looking to hire an Inside Sales Representative to support our Defense and International Defense sales teams. In this role, you will assist with various sales activities, including researching long-term business development opportunities and handling day-to-day administrative tasks related to current deals. The Defense sales team covers global defense businesses, working to facilitate transactions and provide essential support to customers worldwide.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Follow up on defense sales leads, and make warm introductions to distribution partners as needed
- Generate quotes for deals for both distribution partners and end-users
- Track and pursue renewal opportunities in coordination with sales reps
- Develop new opportunities by following through on trade show leads and general prospecting
- Generate and distribute reports to distribution partners and Owl management
- Work with sales and Owl legal team to gather and record required compliance documentation regarding orders
- Acknowledge and process purchase orders from customers and distributors and submitting the deals to the sales operations team.
- Coordinate with the support team and customers to plan delivery activities
Requirements / Qualifications :
Preferred College Degree
1-3 years of work experience in order processing, customer service, event scheduling.
Experience professionally communicating with external and internal stakeholders
