The Role
The Compliance Testing Technician position is responsible for performing inspections and testing on underground storage tanks, dispensing equipment, and other components that monitor that system. It’s our job to ensure our customers are in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- DPLeak Vacuum containment sump testing
- Spill bucket testing
- Tank and line testing
- Ensuring proper installation and function of leak detectors and sensors
- Automatic Tank Gauge testing
- Overfill Prevention Verification
- Miscellaneous other forms of compliance testing
- Occasionally repairing or replacing components as needed
- Record and maintain documentation in a methodical and organized manner
- Communicate with customers and effectively explain technical issues to non-technical people
- Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order.
- Appropriate equipment training and safety training will be provided.
- Position may not perform all duties listed above.
