The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
In order to properly perform the integral functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to: stand or walk and stoop or kneel or sit. It is crucial to the outcome of job tasks that the employee is able to: talk or hear; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms extensively. Climbing stairs, ladders or sloped grades and walking on uneven terrain may be frequent.
The employee in this classification will be required to frequently lift objects of up to 25 pounds in weight. Occasionally the employee will have to lift or move objects of up to 50 pounds in weight.
Vision requirements for this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and possible vibration of power tools. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and/or machinery. The noise level in the work environment at times can be loud.

- Follow all required safety protocols while performing electrical work at various commercial and industrial sites incorporating and adhering to OHSA and American Petroleum Institute regulations.
- Precisely lay out electrical jobs that meet NFPA code standards
- Accurately estimate electrical work
- Manage and complete hands-on electrical projects

- Perform various mechanical and construction tasks
- Must have a minimum of 3 years electrical experience
- Must hold a journeyman’s electrical license in Indiana
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
- A good driving record is required.
