Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and families in a speech and occupational therapy private practice, providing exceptional customer service and support.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A friendly, helpful attitude and excellent communication skills are essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our clients and families.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
- Handle inquiries, requests, and assist with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, including filing important documents and managing office supplies.
- Utilize email and EMR system for scheduling and record-keeping as needed.
- Provide support by answering phone calls and responding to emails promptly.
- Collaborate with therapy and leadership team to ensure seamless operation.
- Cleaning the office and therapy materials / equipment
- Purchasing requested items and materials
- Assisting with small projects/jobs around the office
Experience
- Previous experience in a clerical or office environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Experience as a personal assistant or in customer support roles is advantageous.
- Ability to manage email system, Google Drive, scanner/fax applications is preferred.
