Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals. This is an opportunity for a long term position and to join a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Maintain current licensing, training requirements, and compliance with NEC, state, and local regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and layout conduit, lighting, and control systems.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components.
- Perform critical electrical tie-ins, outages, inspections, and necessary replacements.
- Participate in safety functions, including toolbox talks, audits, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide technical assistance and training to team members as needed.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete quality work within deadlines.
- Direct and oversee workers to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Follow policies, procedures, safety rules, and federal and state laws.
- Be able to inspect and replace faulty wires, electrical systems, or components to determine condition and identify repairs needed.
