JOB SUMMARY
IN THE ROLE OF THE OPTIMAL LIFE HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACH, YOU WILL PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT TO CLIENTS IN ACHIEVING THEIR HEALTH AND WELLNESS GOALS. THIS ROLE INVOLVES WEEKLY CHECK-INS, DATA ANALYSIS, AND COACHING CLIENTS ON EXERCISE, NUTRITION, AND LIFESTYLE HABITS TO OPTIMIZE THEIR WELL-BEING.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- CLIENT COACHING & CHECK-INS:
- CONDUCT WEEKLY CHECK-INS WITH CLIENTS (IN-PERSON DURING INFUSIONS OR VIRTUALLY).
- FOLLOW THE “CHECK-IN CHECKLIST” AND DOCUMENT ALL RELEVANT DETAILS.
- MAINTAIN A CASELOAD OF CLIENTS BASED ON FTE STATUS.
- COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT:
- ENGAGE WITH CLIENTS THROUGH THE OPTIMAL LIFE FORUM, CHECKING AND RESPONDING DAILY.
- PROVIDE EDUCATION AND MOTIVATION TO SUPPORT CLIENT SUCCESS.
- ESCALATE CLIENT QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS TO JESSICA AS NEEDED.
- DATA INTERPRETATION & HEALTH METRICS:
- UNDERSTAND AND INTERPRET METABOLIC TESTING RESULTS (VO2MAX, RESTING METABOLIC RATE, AND INBODY ANALYSIS) TO COACH CLIENTS EFFECTIVELY.
- GUIDE CLIENTS THROUGH RECOMMENDED QUARTERLY CLEANSES (CORE RESTORE AND PROLON).
- ANALYZE DATA FROM THE WHOOP DEVICE AND PROVIDE STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE CLIENT PERFORMANCE.
- COACH CLIENTS ON THE EFFECTIVE USE OF THE CRONOMETER FOR TRACKING NUTRITION AND HEALTH GOALS.
- REPORTING & MEETINGS:
- ATTEND BIWEEKLY MEETINGS WITH JESSICA TO DISCUSS CLIENT PROGRESS.
- PARTICIPATE IN MONTHLY MEETINGS WITH DR. KAPLAN FOR CLIENT REVIEWS.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IN EXERCISE, NUTRITION, AND GOAL SETTING.
- STRONG INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS WITH A FRIENDLY, EMPATHETIC DEMEANOR.
- ABILITY TO INTERPRET HEALTH DATA AND PROVIDE ACTIONABLE COACHING STRATEGIES.
- EXPERIENCE WITH METABOLIC TESTING, WELLNESS TECHNOLOGY, OR HEALTH COACHING IS A PLUS.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- NONE.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- WORKS IN A HEALTHCARE AND WELLNESS SETTING, WITH SOME VIRTUAL WORK REQUIRED
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- OCCASIONAL STANDING, WALKING, AND SITTING.
- ABILITY TO USE A COMPUTER AND PHONE FOR CLIENT COMMUNICATION.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- CERTIFICATION OR EXPERIENCE IN HEALTH COACHING, NUTRITION, OR FITNESS.
- EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH WELLNESS TECHNOLOGY AND TRACKING SYSTEMS.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- NONE REQUIRED; CERTIFICATIONS IN HEALTH OR FITNESS COACHING ARE PREFERRED.
