About The Role
We're seeking an experienced YouTube growth expert to join our team at Owned & Operated. As a key member of our content marketing team, you'll be responsible for driving massive growth on our YouTube channel.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Owning our YouTube growth strategy to take our channel from where it is now to massive growth
- Owning our Social Media organic growth strategy
- Collaborating with our video editor to fine-tune videos for channel optimization
- Tracking performance across all organic channels and making data-driven decisions to improve results
- Creating high-performing titles & thumbnails
- Working with editors & creators to make content engaging, snappy, and optimized for retention
- Developing content ideas & funnels to ensure videos tie into our broader audience growth goals
- Repurposing video content for other platforms
- Running A/B tests and experiments to keep the channel evolving
- Keeping up-to-date on trends & best practices for YouTube's algorithm, analytics, and more
About You
- Proven experience growing a YouTube channel (either your own or for a brand)
- A deep understanding of YouTube's algorithm, analytics, and best practices
- Creative instincts for what makes great YouTube content – hooks, pacing, and storytelling
- An obsessive attention to detail for thumbnails and titles – knowing how to make people click
- Experience working with video editors to optimize content for retention
- A self-starter who thrives on ownership and results
