We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to join our team and assist with the cleaning and upkeep of our short-term rental properties in North Myrtle Beach. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our guests, and we are looking for someone who can uphold these standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in short-term rental cleaning, be highly organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Multiple positions available.
Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning:
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all areas of the property.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to a high standard.
- Wipe down all kitchen surfaces, including countertops, appliances, and cabinets.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas, including light switches, doorknobs, and handles.
- Linens and Laundry:
- Change bed linens and replace towels.
- Wash, dry, fold, and neatly arrange linens and towels in a timely manner.
- Restocking Supplies:
- Ensure that all necessary supplies, including toiletries, cleaning products, and paper goods, are restocked and readily available for guests.
- Inspection:
- Check for any damage or issues within the property and report to the management team for prompt resolution.
- Ensure properties are guest-ready and prepared for the next check-in.
- Turnover Times:
- Complete cleaning within the allotted timeframe to ensure a smooth turnover between guests, especially during peak seasons.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in short-term rental cleaning is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet high cleanliness standards.
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a commitment to consistently meeting deadlines.
- Experience working independently and managing multiple properties as needed.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations during peak seasons with quick turnaround times.
Schedule and Availability:
- Immediate Availability: We need someone who can start right away.
- Weekend Availability: During the high season (summer), the ability to perform quick and efficient turnovers on weekends is a must. This may require cleaning several properties on the same day.
- Flexible work hours, but expect a high volume of work during the busy months.
Compensation:
- Per Job Pay: Compensation is based on the size and complexity of each rental property.
Additional Requirements:
- We provide all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Transportation: You must have reliable transportation to travel between properties.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate flexibility in meeting the needs of the company.
- Must have a cell phone as our online cleaning system supports taking pictures of damages found during the cleaning process as well as a sparkly clean property that is rental ready for guest and owner stays.
