We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Construction Assistant to support our team in various construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Duties
- Assist with daily administrative tasks such as data entry and maintaining project documentation.
- Manage office operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
- Utilize Google Suite for document creation, spreadsheet management, and presentations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and communicating effectively with clients and team members.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, supplies, and equipment used on-site.
- Support project managers with time management and project tracking to ensure deadlines are met.
- Handle phone etiquette professionally while managing incoming calls related to construction projects.
- Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution.
- Assist in the computerized tracking of project progress and resource allocation using QuickBooks or similar software.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
- Previous experience in office management or administrative roles is preferred but not required.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
