Lead- Parts

Job Description:

The Lead will work cooperatively with customers and members of the organization to provide excellent customer service. They will step in to run the department while the supervisor/manager is out. They will ensure accurate information is gathered and entered into the system in a timely manner.

Duties:

• Run the day-to-day operation in the parts department, including sales and warehouse.
• Generate sales by determining the customer’s parts requirements and expectations by recommending specific solutions.
• Educate customers on parts offering, terminology, features and benefits to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to perform data entry at a minimum of 50 WPM without sacrificing accuracy.
• Present a professional image at all times to customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Communicate accurate customer order information to all departments as needed.
• Verify count from bills of lading on incoming materials. Inspect materials and perform item counts as appropriate.
• Ensure proper documentation is turned in on a daily basis.
• Assist in Shipping Department when required.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
• Must have an excellent attendance record.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Educational: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Parts knowledge, preferred. Minimum 2 years in similar position. Microsoft office experience –Primarily Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Other: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
