Helper/General Laborer
JOB SUMMARY
The General Laborer/Helper is responsible for performing Vacuum Excavation on job sites, while safely following all health and safety policies and procedures. They may be required to drive licensed equipment and must be able to perform physical labor work for long periods of time throughout the day. This individual will have a willingness to learn and be able to cooperatively work with their team so that Ox OnSite Inc. can provide quality service to customers and clients. Lots of travel involved
Ox OnSite Inc. provides all your PPE, and an annual PPE allowance, boot allowance, paid training, retention bonus, per diem for travel
KEY RESPONSIBITLIES
· Safely perform Vacuum excavation on jobs sites through LA, GA, FL, TX, OH, etc
· Provide excellent customer service as you represent the Ox OnSite brand.
· Troubleshoot issues and equipment, including preventative maintenance
· Follow all legislation and regulations set out by the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Ox OnSite Policies & Standard Operating Procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
· Safety oriented and a team player
· Willingness to learn
· Driver’s license required (clean abstract)
· Previous experience in construction an asset
· Ability to safely use and lift heavy equipment
SCHEDULE & WORKING CONDITIONS
· Monday to Friday; Saturday and Emergency work on weekends may be required
· Full time; but hours may vary each day
· Field and on the road environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
