Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Shrink wraps rolls, use banding machine to band rolls, use labeling computer program to make labels and ready for shipping.
- Fill out paperwork for shift production totals.
- Verify quality of the roll.
- Will Hike Hay, when necessary, as well as assist other departments of the mill.
- Train to become a 5th Hand and progressively advance in responsibility
- All other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Physical Demands
- Routinely lift 50#
- Must be capable of being qualified as a mobile equipment operator (minimum clamp truck, fork truck)
- 4 Crew Swing Shift
Minimum Skills Required
- Must pass and maintain mobile equipment certifications for:
- Clamp truck, Fork truck, All other mobile equipment required to perform tasks
- Physical and Drug Test
- Swing shift is mandatory.
