What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Account Manager position at OX Tools Global?
POSITION DESCRIPTION :
This position is responsible for profitably increasing sales within key account(s) through identifying opportunities in line-reviews, networking, face-to-face meetings, phone calls, virtual meetings, and other sales activities. Key account growth will come from line-reviews, off-shelf promotions, product range extensions, in-store and virtual product training, marketing initiatives, new product introductions & new business development using the proven OX Tools Sales Playbook and Sales Processes. The marketing programs & merchandising strategies designed to maximize the OX Brand will support you to achieve the full potential within the Key Account(s). The Key Account(s) will be national accounts managed from Head Office.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Execute OX Tools Sales Playbook with autonomy to succeed in the market.
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly revenue streams from the Key Account(s).
- Rapidly grow key accounts sales to achieve monthly targets by continual research of opportunities, promotional activities, account management meetings, expanding the footprint within key account stores, prompt and accurate communication, line-review presentations and off shelf promotional opportunities.
- Managing the Key Account(s) to maintain adequate coverage / servicing to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure communication with the key contacts within the Key Account(s) is maintained through a regular call cycle to; present OX promotional activity, attend customers events, get opportunities to add OX Group Brands’ products and for new product introductions.
- Attend weekly & monthly sales meetings, company, and industry events.
- Complete Daily call logs and enter follow up information in OX Tools NA CRM System (Numerik).
- Synthesize customer / market feedback to inform messaging and ensure strict customer focus.
- Collaborate with executive team to ideate on new markets, strategies, partnerships, and product initiatives.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure new products and development align with the customer’s opportunity pipeline.
