OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as, medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC, Inc. is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 22 stores in WA, ID and OR.
Job Summary: Market, sell, and service specialty, medical and beverage gases. Direct activities to achieve goals established for the assigned territory. Organize activities to gain highest possible sales volume, profitability and market share within assigned territory. Assist other outside sales personnel with specialty products.
Duties include:
Call on prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer / supplier relationship. Solve customer problems/issues. Customer deliveries as required.
Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by:
Developing technical presentations for potential customers.
Maintaining up-to-date awareness of latest products and their applications, company activities, industry trends and government regulations.
Establish sales goals with Branch Manager and Sales Manager. Manage existing accounts and increase market share according to established goals.
Assist inside sales force and support staff as related to sales responsibilities.
Requirements include:
At least 2 years previous outside sales and industry experience.
Medical gas certificates a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to respond to clients and customers.
Understanding of welding and safety terminology and equipment.
Able to travel at least 50% of time.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet use.
Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
Salary Range: (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $55,000 - $85,000 annually.)DOE (depending on experience).

Paid time off includes 8 paid holidays per year, vacation is prorated based on hire date and employees are eligible to use vacation effective January after hire date, sick leave accrues at 1 hour for every 40 worked, jury duty (up to 30 days), and bereavement leave. Clothing wear out/allowance program. Voluntary benefit options include life, AD&D insurance and AFLAC. Employees are eligible for most benefits on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. However, some benefits have different qualifying periods. Medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance is effective on the 90th day of employment.
