Certified Welding Instructor

OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as, medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 21 stores in WA, ID and OR.

Summary: Perform instructional classroom and practical hands-on training in all methods of welding, safety procedures, and quality assurance. Maintain and revise all training documentation. Work one on one with students of both technical and non-technical backgrounds; instructing both beginner and advanced welder. Assist with welding tests.

Requirements include:

 Proficient in the principles of welding in multiple welding processes such as SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and GTAW. Welder Certifications. (needs to be obtained) in house certification.
 Willingness to obtain CWI.
 Trade School or Apprentice in one of the construction trades or a current CWI.
 Currently have or have had multiple certifications in the various welding processes.
 Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills plus strong planning and organizational skills.
 Strong written, verbal, persuasive and interpersonal skills for communication with clients.
 Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds.
 Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.

Must pass drug screen and background check.

Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $30/hr. - DOE. (Depending on experience) (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $30/hr.-$35/hr.)
