What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gas Lab Technician position at OXARC?
OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as, medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC, Inc. is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 21 stores in WA, ID and OR.
Summary: Testing and analysis of specialty gas products, production of product, responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
Requirements include:
Industrial/Specialty Gas experience preferred.
Knowledge of analytical chemistry methods and theories.
Strong math skills.
Must have strong computer skills.
Knowledge of analytical chemistry methods and theories preferred.
Gas Chromatography experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of and compliance with safety and FDA regulations and specialty gas procedures preferred but not required.
Must be meticulous and detailed oriented.
Must be able to move gas and liquid cylinders.
Working knowledge of planning and blending mixtures is a plus.
Drug screen and background check required.
