Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team at a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform various machining operations
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Handle materials and tooling with care to prevent damage
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge and experience working with CNC lathe machines
- Familiarity with logic controllers and basic math skills
- Ability to use calipers for precise measurements
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Knowledge of welding processes is advantageous
- Proficiency in tooling setup and packaging of finished products
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
