Job Overview
The Parts Department Manager needs to perform well under pressure and understand the fluctuating needs of various replacement parts. They are responsible for overseeing the shipment and inventory procedures of the department and manage team members efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manages parts inventory, including ordering, invoicing, receiving, annual returns, and obsolete parts.
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Monitoring current and future parts inventory
- Drive efficiency and growth within the Parts Department.
- Supervising and training parts department staff members
- Conduct physical inventory counts as required
- Assist customers/dealers with their needs in a professional manner
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
- Assist in parts pricing strategy and research
- Adheres to company quality protocols and processes
- Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the Oxbo handbook
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Perform all duties with a safety-first quality mindset.

- 4 Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen to and identify the needs of our dealers and the parts department.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues in a timely manner.
- General product knowledge to identify parts correctly and recommend the needed parts.
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Associates degree or 3 years of relevant work experience
- Prior management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
