Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for parts operations within the store location to provide the highest level of external and internal customer satisfaction, while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory control, and expense control. You will provide leadership to the parts department, attract and retain outstanding talent and effectively engage department personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory and proper counter procedures
- Work cross-functionally with service and sales teams to fulfill needs.
- Collaborate with the rest of the spare parts team within Oxbo USA.
- Establish parts personnel goals, provide feedback, reward performance, and address performance issues in alignment with strategic parts department direction provided by regional management.
- Communicate policies, procedures, and department goals to local parts personnel and ensure they are understood
- Ship and receive orders. Work with both small packages as well as LTL for both incoming and outbound freight.
Work a flexible schedule that may include emergency/after-hours service on a rotating basis including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Perform other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Agricultural equipment knowledge
- Strong ability to organize, prioritize and pay attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Computer and analytical skills -to include ability to navigate shipping websites to get quotes for shipments, print labels and paperwork, create POs and order parts accurately and timely
- Ability to operate forklift
- Ability to lift heavy parts—on occasion up to 50 pounds
- Strong customer service skills and orientation
- Supervisory experience
- Clean driving record (required)
- High School Graduate or GED required; Some college coursework preferred
