Oxbo International is a global leader in providing innovative agricultural machinery solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Platform Software to join our global technology team.
The position can be based at one of our facilities worldwide and offers the opportunity to work on the development of Oxbo's next generation MACHINE APPLICATION FRAMEWORK (MAF).
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in:
- Designing and implementing MAF features in C, supporting the enterprise with cutting-edge software solutions.
- Advocating best software engineering practices within the company, ensuring high-quality code and efficient development processes.
- Managing configuration of the MAF, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Creating software test documents and bench testing software, prior to releasing it for HIL and field testing.
We require a Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer/software engineering, with 7-10 years of experience writing embedded C. A willingness to adapt day-to-day work hours to accommodate meeting times with European partners is also necessary.
A strong understanding of agriculture and mechanical principles is desirable, as well as proficiency in scripting languages such as Python. Medical benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with a generous company match are included in the compensation package.
